Vivint Solar Appoints Maggie Heile as Vice President of Marketing

Branding and marketing veteran to oversee Vivint Solar's brand and strategic marketing

LEHI, Utah, April 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Vivint Solar (NYSE: VSLR) today announced that it has named Maggie Heile as vice president of marketing. In this role, Heile will oversee Vivint Solar's marketing, communications and branding initiatives.

A veteran marketing leader with 25 years of experience, Heile's expertise is in amplifying new or undervalued brands and driving revenue, profitability and market share. Throughout her career, Heile has led some of the most recognized and respected consumer brands across a wide range of categories, and in close partnership with big retailers like Costco, Walmart, and Target.

Prior to joining Vivint Solar, Heile led marketing for the Retailer Brands division of Sun Products Corporation, the second largest laundry product manufacturer in the U.S., where she developed best-in-class brand building capability that resulted in volume, profit, share, and brand equity growth across a portfolio of 50+ brands and multiple product categories.

Heile previously served as a senior vice president and general manager at Saatchi & Saatchi X, one of the top global shopper marketing agencies, where she helped build and strategically lead a new agency network, including its global expansion. She began her career at Procter & Gamble, working across a wide range of brands in the food, beverage and pet categories. Among Heile's achievements at P&G, she profitably grew the Iams dog and cat food businesses to billion-dollar brands.
