Troubleshooting a SolarEdge A or StorEdge inverter
You either have a SolarEdge A inverter or—if you have a solar home battery—you have a StorEdge inverter. The good news is that we troubleshoot them the same way. Now that we know what type of inverter you have, we’re going to have you check a few things on it.
Check the functionality of your SolarEdge A or StorEdge inverter

It should be located in the gap between the two halves of the device. To see it, you may have to stoop down a little. Make sure the red switch is pointing to the 1 position.

Is the green “Power production” indicator lighting up, or do you see any information displayed on that screen? If you do, that’s great—that’s what we want to see.

Continue pressing it until you see "[S_OK] ON" on lower right-hand corner of the display and go to the next step. If the inverter isn’t getting power, give us a call and let us know what you’re seeing. We’ll send someone out to fix it.

Now that we’ve checked the functionality of your SolarEdge A or StorEdge inverter, we need to check to see if it’s connected to the internet.
Check the internet connection of your SolarEdge A or StorEdge inverter
To check the internet connection of your SolarEdge A or StorEdge inverter:
If you see the phrase “Server: LAN,” it means your SolarEdge inverter uses a communication gateway to connect the solar energy system to the internet. Click the link to go to the next step in Troubleshooting a SolarEdge system with a gateway connection.
If you see the phrase “Server: Cell,” it means your SolarEdge inverter uses an internal cellular device to connect your solar energy system to the internet. Click the link to go to the next step in Troubleshooting a SolarEdge system with a built-in cellular connection.
